I write purely from the heart. For good bad or indifferent I love always to be real, organic and true to myself and my feelings. Music is my first and greatest love and my biggest inspiration and influence. I love great strory- song singers like Rupert holmes and Joshua Kadison but can be just as inspired by darker souls such as Gary Numan and Morrissey.
A D.J. for over 15 years (until retiring in 2001) I'm right out of the old school and love characters like Tony Blackburn, Tim Wonnacott, John McCririck and David Dickenson.
Since turning 40, I have dedicated a lot of my free time to writing and recording. A regular contributer to 'Hastings Town' magazine, I love to write about the old days and see myself as hopelessly old fashioned.
I have written one novel - 'In Search Of Simon' but as yet have failed to cope with the task of editing it! I love to write poetry as well and have recorded two poetry and music merged albums - 'In Words, In Music...Of Life, Of Death' and 'Dark Clouds' working with producer, Harvey Summers.
I am a member of two writing groups - Shorelink Community Writers and G.R.O.W and owe much of my inspiration and achievements to the membership of both groups (particularly Shorelink)
I am self - opinionated, autistic, a bit of a handfull at times and a bit of a rebel but undeneath all that I'm a sentimental twit and a right softie really (just don't tell anyone, eh?).
