I am wirter. One of millions. Just another fish in the sea, but my voice is unique as are most, and I suspect I may have something new to say.
I live in rural Nebraska on a working farm. I have two grown children.
I have a little Schnauzer named Schatzy who actually isn’t that little. He’s a gobbler so his round tummy and meaty thighs make him look larger than the miniature version of himself should be. Don’t judge him! He’s my baby. He’s just a hungry little fellow! I also have a white cat we call Lena who is as lovable as the day is long.
We enjoy life in the country and the small town we live near. We love to travel and enjoy our friends and family and I assure you, life is good here in the middle.
My mother was the inspiration for all my creative endeavors. In thruth, she never allowed herself the opportunity to express herself in creative ways. She grew up poor, without a mother, during the depression era and had a hard-work mentality. Even though she was tough and stoic, she always encouraged every creative thing I ever did. That encouragement has always given me internal permission which allows me to be who I am. One of those crazy creative types.
I love reading Irving, King, Grisham, Patterson, Brown, and Picoult but I so admire old style writing like Steinbeck - The Pearl, still being one of the most simple and eloquantly told tales of good and evil.
