My love of reading and storytelling came from my mother, my curiosity and love of learning, from my father. I began writing in elementary school and filled spiral notebooks with stories and story ideas.
After teaching grammar and creative writing for 34+ years, I took the materials I have developed over the years and turned them into grammar workbooks that teachers say they really enjoy using with their students, too. Simple Steps to Sentence Sense for High School is now available as an ebook C.D. from Author's Den, or as a download from teacherspayteachers.com.
In 2010, I published a Simple Steps to Sentence Sense for Middle School with the same notes but entirely new exercises, tests, and writing connection pages. Now you can use this powerful book with more than one grade level.
Both editions are in pdf format which makes it easy for you to download and print one page at a time or the whole book.
After numerous requests, I recently published an edition of Simple Steps to Sentence Sense for Elementary and ESL Students.
I have recently posted several free and moderately priced products on TeachersPayTeachers.com that should prove very useful to educators.
