A writer, actor, and horror film historian, Doug Lamoreux was raised on monster movies and nurtured by Famous Monsters of Filmland Magazine. Poe and Lovecraft saw him safely to sleep at night (well, very early morning). A former Rondo Award nominee, he wrote The Devil's Bed (a 2011 kindle e-book), co-authored the novel Apparition Lake (2005), and contributed to the non-fiction Horror 101: The A-List of Horror Films and Monster Movies (2008). He appears in the Mark Anthony Vadik films The Thirsting (aka Lilith) and Hag, and starred in Peter O'Keefe's Infidel. Lamoreux just released his newest e-book horror, Dracula's Demeter (2012).
