Dr. Mary K. Sanders is a retired educator. She worked in higher ed for 38 years. Dr. Sanders resides in Stone Mountain, GA. She completed a Master's Degree, Doctoral Degree, and other accomplishments; not knowing she had a brain tumor, the size of an orange, that had been growing for 15 years.

My passion was to reach others who may share similar health challenges. I was led to write my story how God sustained me through living with a brain tumor. I was brought through a life of many spiritual and medical challenges.
I was inspired by one of my favorite songs, God Kept Me, by Kurt Carr. The lyrics of the song states:
"So, I am here today, because God Kept Me. I'm alive today only because of HIS grace. Oh, HE kept me, GOD Kept me. HE Kept me-so I Wouldn't let go."
I hope my story imparts wisdom to others on how to be proactive with their own health care.
