For many years I have enjoyed reading the works of others. The written word has sparked my imagination for years and will continue to do so for years to come.
I was first introduced into the role of an author at a young age by a wonderful English teacher. Her desire to unlock my abilities went unrewarded, for even though she had faith in me, I did not have faith in me. I dodged and spurned homework at every turn.
It was not until I was older (and wiser I hope) that I started to enjoy writing. It started when I was introduced to the world of D&D. I would write elaborate backgrounds for characters, make adventures and participate in the great journey of discovery. Later on I used that knowledge when creating technical manuals and training guides.
Now, with almost half a century behind me, I find that my talents are looking to be discovered. I started updating my blog regularly and then expanded to short stories. Several of my short stories are still available for reading (the ones that I find the most entertaining that is). Unfortunately they did not offer the challenge that I craved. That is when I discussed the problem with a friend who had read the outline for the next short story he told me to make a novel out of it. Hence "I Hate Zero-G" was born.
I continue to write and have many ideas for exciting stories.
