One of my favorite questions as a child was "Why?". I annoyed everyone around me with that question until someone showed me how to find the answers for myself using the library and other research tools. Now when I ask "Why?", I go out and find the answers and turn them into stories that I can share with everyone.
I'm also an avid photographer and I love to combine that with my writing. I actually have a series of ebooks called the Nature of Life that contains some of my photos with bits of prose and poetry.

Accomplishments

I have received two awards from the International Society of Photographers--one was Outstanding Amateur Photographer and the other was the Outstanding Achievements award. I have also been given the esteemed Golden Leaf award from Field and Forest for my exceptional work in nature photography.
