Hello! Since I have joined Author's Den, I have made so many new friends and have met some of the most talented people on earth. Everyone is so supportive of each other and it is amazing how we all work together to encourage one another. It's one big family and I feel so welcomed here.I wanted to share a little more info about my life with you, since so many of my writings are taken from it. I am 30 years old and have been writing since the tender age of 9 years old. I didn't really take writing to heart until I was 14, when I truly understood the meaning behind it all. I would write poems, lyrics and short stories; most of which mirrored my own life. This was my healing process through all the pain I faced in my early childhood. Growing up I lost my father and many family members to suicide and cancer... What a heart wrenching combination for someone so young. Writing became my release in life and I found spiritual healing through it. I feel like God has given me a special gift to share with others. Up until a few months ago, I had all of my work locked up in a box... Then I met an editor and mentor for writers all over the world. She took me under her wing and inspired me to believe in myself and start writing again full time. Her name is VicToria Tallman Freudiger, and I truly feel she is a earth bound angel. She is also an author/poet here at Author's Den and I encourage all of you to read her work... It's wonderful.I hope that you will enjoy my memoirs on this website and walk away inspired or touched in some way. I am open for positive and negative feedback...
