Abel was a name given to me by my high school art teacher and has stuck with me through out the years. He was a main influence in my creativity, and inspired me to go to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh to earn a degree in commercial art. Although that’s not what pays the bills. Funny how life works out sometimes. I still love working with pencil, brush and charcoal not to mention woodworking (another passion of mine).
I started writing early on, to fill a void. Filling spiral bound notebooks with simple thought. To this day I pre-write everything in my notebooks before typing them into the computer.
I live in what I feel is one of the most beautiful spots in the US. Upstate New York the Fingerlakes Region. I’m single and in my 40’s and love life with a passion that borders on ecstasy. Ya I’ve had my heart ripped out and handed to me a few times. But such is life. It won’t stop me from searching for my soul mate. It just gives me more to write about.

Life is my main motivation. What I see, hear, and feel in my heart. Sometimes fantasy will run away with me. Sometimes reality will grab me and pull me back. I will write for children, I will write for adults. I will write about pain and sorrow. I will write about joy and happiness. Be it dark, or light. I just write...Abel
