"There is one thing I would break up over and that is if she caught me with another woman. I wouldn't stand for that." ~ Steve Martin

Background Information

I have been writing poetry ever since I was around ten years old. I had my first poem published when I was 12 years old, entitled "At my wall". It went something a little like: At my wall is where I stare, I have a picture here or there...", completely amateur but a great feat to a 12 year old. Currently, I am a contributing editor for a website called, suite101.com. My poetry website can be found at: http://www.suite101.com/welcome.cfm/resources_for_poets . My favorite poet is a tie between Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath, and Walt Whitman. So someone should come out with a poem that goes like this: 'Hope is a thing with feathers, I was the foot daddy, but you were the boot, here my captain lies...!' And so forth.. I like to think of myself as a good poet, but most likely am just petting my own ego! Well, I suppose I should let everyone find out for themselves.
