One writes, because one must. And every writer needs an audience. This is my motto and philosophy.

Background Information

I have been writing professionally for approximately 10 years now, and though I try to work in all fields and genre's that interest me, horror is where I am currently having the most success. Birth Place
Petaluma, CA U.S.A.

I written and produced several plays, among them "The Last Deal" and "A Proud Man Stands Alone" now collected in the book, "An Evening of Reflection, Sorrow, and Mirth." My novella "Building A Better Monster" is currently being serialized at Art Of, and I am also a reviewer at

Additional Information

My novel, "The Hunting Sorrow" is now in its second printing and doing well. "Primeval Fear: The Elements of Classic Horror" has been released in its preview format, and is currently outselling all my other work! "An Evening Of Reflection, Sorrow, And Mirth" has just been released, and my non-fiction will be appearing this November in Scribner's "Supernatural Fiction Writers, 2nd Edition."

Building A Better Monster
In 1996 the chupacabra scare ravaged all of Mexica. The 'goat-sucker' was blamed from any live stock death, even to human murders. It was all based upon a hoax, until people started to believe. "Building A Better Monster" explores what happens when that belief becomes strong enough to make the creature real...
