I wrote a great deal in highschool, but the work of raising a large family was my main priority for many years. Now everyone has grown up and I am writing again. My overriding motivation for writing is my urgent concern that the people of Earth are not sufficiently awakening and living by their own wisdom which alone can save our planet. Every day is a war between the forces that want wisdom to prevail and those that want Earth destroyed. I try in my poetry and essays to offer thoughts that might stimulate wisdom and thinking and so improve the chances for survival and a better world.
