Connie graduated as Class Salutatorian from National Broadcasting School in 1988. She was the first person in the history of the institution to land a full-time major market on-air position before graduation. Then known as Connie Synclair, she was also the first female radio personality to be hired full-time at KXOA Radio in Sacramento.
Connie received the highly-coveted Gold Award for publicity services for a non-profit organization from the Sacramento Public Relations Association in 1997.
Connie is also a Master Web Copywriter.
Moreover, Connie is a Certified Holistic Life Coach, and she utilizes this knowledge in her travel writing practice.

A background artist for three seasons on the CBS night time soap, Falcon Crest,Connie was also the voice of Sacramento's U.S. Home radio commercials at the beginning of the millenium, and was featured as a Catholic Student in the film "Sister Act II" with Whoopi Goldberg.
Her work can also be seen in publications that include Sierra Heritage Magazine,Growing Wealth Magazine, Abundant Lifestyles Magazine, The Home Business Journal, and several on-line zines.
