Information

Alice was born in Poland during the Second World War. Because the family was ethnic German, they found it necessary to flee for their lives, shortly before the Russian take-over in January of 1945. Alice has lived in Poland, Checkoslovakia, Germany and the United States, first in Minnesota and then in Arizona.

Accomplishments

|
Alice graduated with honors from Anoka High School in Anoka, Minnesota. She attended Bethel College, and has a Ministry Certificate from Berean College. She has done some writing and published an article in Decision Magazine titled Our Refugee Christmas. The following year it was translated into German and published in Enscheidung.
Through the years Alice has worn many hats; office worker, stay-at-home mom, homeschool teacher, daycare teacher and latchkey teacher. She has been a Sunday school teacher and a Sunday School Superintendent.
Her book BY HANDS OF STRANGERS is now available.
