I was inspired to write as a teenager by King, and other dark authors. Although I liked their work, I was truly jolted to take up a pen when I began to read Barker. I stayed in the shadowy horror end of writing and took a lot of hard knocks. Several thousand dollars later, in the beginning, I learned a valuable lesson about how the literary world works, and what NOT to do when it comes to individuals posing as Agents to get you published...Don't get me started on this subject. Years later, surviving the times, I am finally an established author. 

SOUL TAKERS, was my first commercial novel. Slow to start, it has found a modest nitch on bookshelves across the world.
Following the success of SOUL TAKERS, I wrote STRANGER BESIDE ME, not to be confused with STRANGER BESIDE ME by Anne Rule. Please, no jokes. Based loosely on I MARRIED A MONSTER FROM OUTERSPACE, I was strong-armed to change the name when Paramount Pictures refused to give up title rights! Written in First Person, I was subject to new terrors as an author.
PRETERNATURAL GIFTS, was my third novel. Nothing like having book signing events where people ask you what the hell the title means! Some of my favorite characters are in that novel and I have outlined a prequel and a sequel to this genre.
SOUL TAKERS: SOUL MATES, what's to say about it! taking up 11 years after the first novel, literary and chronologically, I made changes to the characters and to myself that reflect on my cgrowing confidence as a writer.
LYCANTHROPE, orginally written in high school, I revised this novel several times and it now sits with my literary agent waiting either book or screen adaptation.
