Ms. Mooney created Moonhues Studios and a nationally recognized textile artist. Her visual poetry has been seen in Business World, Emerge, Essence and other publications as well as the books The Spirit in the Cloth by Dr. Carolyn Mazloomi, A Communion of the Spirit by Roland L. Freeman & Seven Sacred Principles, for Minding your Business and Passion by Stephanie Stokes Oliver.
Jacquelyn's contemporary quilts are in a number of private & corporate collections including Oprah Winfrey, Dr. Maya Angelou, Susan L. Taylor, Tom Joiner, Sr, Alice Walker & Lorraine Toussaint as well as Johnson & Johnson, Inc., Essence Communications and others. She has appeared on the Today Show & Minority Business Reports and featured in the 2000 Who's Who's in Entrepreneurs. From 1995-2000 she was the artist in residence for the African American Women on Tour conference (AAWOT).

From June 29th-July 14 ,2001, Jacquelyn will appear in the "Indelible Impressions: The Vision of Ten Fine Artist" curated by LaBelle Gallerie at the Villa Treme Milleur. (The African American Museum of Art, Culture and History), New Orleans, La. Also in the exhibition are the works of William Tolliver, Paul Goodnight, Margaret Slade Kelly, Bryan Collier, Buchi Upjohn Aghaji, Aziz Diagne, Andrienne MacDonald & Essud Fungcap. Opening reception is Friday, June 29th from 5-9pm CST. The Museum is located at 1463 Govenor Nichols at the corner of Marais & Govenor Nichols in the historic Treme district. A souflully restored antebellum "Big House" and the slave quarters were appropiately converted to celebrate African American life and culture. Ms Mooney will facilitate the "Good Libation" forum for AAWOT in both conference cities Atlanta, GaFriday, Aug 24th-Sunday Aug 26th, 2001. "Good Llibation" forum will be a panel discussion by proffessionals on the preservation of family and culture. Additionally Ms Mooney will be the featured artist presenter to the 6 keynote speakers included Iyanla vazant, Lorraine Toussaint, Lorreta Devine, Ashe Bandele and Bevc Smith.
