Mary Lou  is a registered nurse, mom to Meaghan and Michael, and wife of Barry. Michael, now 24, was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 5. Since that time, the Connolly household has been impacted by the chaotic nature of Michael's uncontrolled seizures, and the debilitating effects of his medication. Mary Lou decided to write Missing Michael and share her family's intensely personal story in an effort to promote awareness about the profound impact epilepsy can have upon lives. But, life is not all about epilepsy ------Mary Lou's short stories posted on Authors Den are a departure from her writing about seizures.She believes in the value and healing power of laughter and hopes her stories make you chuckle.
