My world has changed dramatically since this write!!! Will the world remember you in two hundred and fifty years? His SciFi-Mystery-Thrillers begin with the quality of Shut Up, a quick story with the time line duality of two archtypical heroes. A 2248 female historian falls into intrigue studying a year 2000 Florida niteclub owner. Tastefully explicit. James Marry's fiction is purposeful and Chri

Background Information

I began reading at age four thanks to a brother ten years older who was very "into" comics. Reality settled in since Mom had a bookshelf full of the classics that I read before age nine. Imagine a nine year old "Poe" fanatic. God's book was completely read by age 10 or 11. Same age,the pen hit the foolscap and Shut Up's evolution began. At 42, its been an interesting journey. Influenced by King, Asimov, Twain, DeFoe, Sanders, and Clarke. The author only hopes that his readers can see a taste of these giants in his ultra-fast fiction. College didn't hurt much either.

Accomplishments

It is an achievement just to finish a book that someone else will enjoy reading.  Writing a second, third and fourth is serious obsession.

Lately I've been named an Everyday Hero by Baynews Nine in West Florida. "The Last Crepe Myrtle" tells the story.
Additional Information

I've been a little lazy, but I'm back on track. I've written the sequel to Shut Up and if nothing new happens I might just stop at book THREE in the series!  I have several other projects that are gathering steam now.

I'm working on an autobiog work and a novel about the transition of three young men that ends with an attempted mass murder. I'm also considering working on an alien invasion novel with a twist where the outsiders enter through the spirit of people to beat the "time" lag.

I have a novel brewing about the creation of a machine that opens a dimension to Hell. The people who can stop, destroy and utilize this power from destroying our world are the cogs making the story roll.

I'll be fresher to the site for a while and my apologies to those of you who have been waiting. Business is business and money fuels the fire... and all that sort of STUFF, ya' know?

Shut Up- the novel- iUniverse Community
Began when I decided to release the book, the site had seen some 800 plus hits in the month and a half from the start. Then B&N kicked it over. Need a real publisher, so the second work will hang until this contract is freed (April 2003).

Bloodletters- a horror/ suspense e-zine that I contribute to regularly
Good short stuff if you like the horror genre. They take me on even though I write a bit mildly for the horror crowd.

A Great Jo Rogers review on MyShelf.com for Shut Up by James Marry
Jo gets all of the idea and really gets it well. I was impressed by her insights and I truly understand her qualms about my "Modus Operandi". Future novels will show the line and tuck, I hope.

The Laurell K Hamilton Fan site
Laurell's people have become a Marry fan and have added me to the Other Authors nest. Laurell's works are vampire romance lent so I see why they like my stuff- I get a bit out there with imagiunation too. I've only read Guilty Pleasures so far, but I must say- great stuff.
