Poetry for all ages from the young to the ageless. If greatness lies in the ability to write poetry that cannot be enjoyed by all, I elect to pass, and will forever remain an insignificant, happy man.

Background Information

I've been writing poetry since January 2004. I don't consider myself to possess any true poetic genius. I do however, create based upon my innnermost feelings pertaining to the subject or the time. My expressions are my own and are often simple ramblings. What I write is what my mind has conceived and considers good work. Otherwise, what is the purpose of writing in the first place?

Birth Place
Dubuque, IA USA

I served 20 years in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. My specialty was Cardio-Pulmonary Technology. I served aboard ship, in hospitals, teaching, and in recruiting Medical Professionals.

I was the first Navy Master Training Specialist, Director of The Cardio-Pulmonary School, and Director of The Encephalography School at Bethesda, Maryland.

I recruited Medical Professionals at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and was the first enlisted Instructor for Medical Programs and National Field Trainer for the Navy Recruiting Command in Pensacola, Fl.

In 20 years of Naval service, I was the Sailor of the Year or Recruiter of the Year 15 years. I received numerous medals, commendations, and acolades. I developed and implemented several medical training and educational programs, developed training manuals, taught at the University of South Carolina, Respiratory Therapy School, in Charleston, S.C. and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management.

Since retiring from the Navy in 1995, I have been the Vice President of Horizon Sunrooms and Spas, Inc. in Pensacola, Fl.

Additional Information

I have completed and published my first book, "Poetry Past And Present Or The Ravings Of A Madman," soon to be available everywhere. Currently, I am working on "America, Why Did You Change Or The Ravings Of A Madman." This book will be a combination of poetry and dialog pertaining to my feelings and beliefs pertaining to the title.
