Some of my influences are Robert Frost: The Road Not Taken, Emily Dickinson, and Edgar Allen Poe..Theres just something spooky, yet interesting about that man from the past.

I began writing as a young girl.....Probaby VERY FIRST beginnings can be found when i was about 5 years old in Kindergarten typing in our "Writing to Read" program :)..

My real true love for writing started when i was about 9 years old. ...It all began with a set of story starters in a special 4th grade teacher's classroom and one director's chair that I used at Milk-Break/Story-Time.

I then switched from stories to poetry in 6th grade where I found my special get-away and a new way to express my feelings. ..At the time, I thought life for a 11 year old was pretty complicated....(will now soon be 22)

Ever since then, I've been writing poetry and have never stopped....I now own a special little "black notebook" where all my "little secrets" are stored :)
