Trained as a scientist, Kantis has received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Norfolk State University (Norfolk, VA), a Master of Science in Polymer Science and Engineer-ing from Lehigh University (Bethlehem, PA) and another Master of Science from Georgia Insti-tute of Technology (Atlanta, GA) in Textile and Fiber Engineering.
With his magnetic personality, professional excellence, academic expertise, and keeping it real style, Kantis has landed jobs with major companies like Mobil Chemical Company, CIBA Vi-sion, and NASA. In 1994, Kantis was selected by Centrifuge, to travel to 16 different inner city camps and change the minds, insights, and aspirations of America’s inner city youth with weekly inspirational messages. In 1996 Kantis performed in front of 85 billion viewers as the Honorary head Drum major of the 1996 Opening Ceremony Olympic Band.
