This summer 2006 I earned a Masters degree from the University of Portland in Business Administration. I love learning and have spent a great deal of my life in a library or lab studying. Today I am in the process of building an international non-profit organization that helps people express ecological sustainability issues through the arts. Before entering The University of Portland I was a financial advisor for 5 years, as a financial advisor I worked in a team that was anchored by a financial analyst, whom I mentored under. Before this, I studied molecular biology and conducted genetic research in a developmental biology lab at the University of Oregon. My writing and art work is an outlet and an inspiration to me. I have used art to heal emotional and spiritual wounds that have been hurting me since I was a young girl. In the past, my voice has been silenced, so I appreciate the freedom to speak.
I have been profoundly influenced by Ayn Rand, L. Tolstoy, Theroux, my children, Picasso and a handful of professors at various universities. My favorite places are Seattle, New York City and Costa Rica. Musical influences include Rush, Aimee Mann, Natalie Merchant, David Bowie, and the Ramones. My favorite movie is Fight Club.
