Author of suspense novel, Beyond Guilty, the David Nance mysteries, Murder At The Jersey Shore, and historical fiction novel, Silk Legacy

Background Information

I became a writer by first reading. Before retirement I commuted to New York City by train. I read newspapers in the morning and books during the evening commute. I like the Brett Halliday Mike Shane mysteries because they were short and quick reads, perfect for communting.

Occasionally I would see an article in the newspaper and I would ask myself, "What if?"

One day I read a horrendus artilce about a father that would not take his newborn home from the hospital because the child was diagnosed with brain impairment. The nurses were outraged and their disgust was quoted in the article.

I asked myself, "What if the child was misdiagnosed?"

then I realized that would make a great mystery. I made notes, the notes turned into paragraphs, the paragraphs into chapters and "Secrets Can Be Deadly", the first novel in the Murder at the Jersey Shore trilogy was born.

Additional Information

My latest novel is "Beyond Guilty". Beyond Guilty is a high concept thriller where a wrongly convicted woman escapes from death row and evades the FBI, escapes from the Coast Guard and battles a private security force to uncover the evidence that will prove her innocence. Reviewers said: "Spirited Prose" "A Real Winner" "Twisting Action” "Authentic Dialogue" "Thought Provoking" "Authentic Dialogue" "A Fast Paced Thriller" "A sympathetic Character" "A Strong Female Protagonist”

Keiretsu
Coming out in the fall of 2012 A Political Thriller Ripped from the Headlines. While the United States is focused on diffusing Iran’s and North Korea’s nuclear weapons’ programs, the ultra-nationalist CEOs of Japan’s eight largest Keiretsus form a secret cabal to develop nuclear weapons as a deterrent to China’s growing military might. However, these powerful men know they will not be able to hide their conspiracy forever, and once their nuclear plans become public, the United States’ will demand Japan cease-and-desist. The secret society’s plot to thwart the United States’ pressure until Japan’s ballistic missiles are deployed, and how their scheme is exposed makes Keiretsu a riveting, mind-bending read. Conspiracy, lust, infidelity, treachery, betrayal and murder permeate this political thriller.
