CHECK MATE AND WORD GAMES
Remote chess “take chess and bring friends”. The text in Checkmate has double approach and is based on true facts of a postal chess match between two friends who lived 300 miles away. Part of the Postal Chess Brazilian Goblet 1991, the match started on september 13th, 1991 and terminated on february 18th, 1993. Letter after letter, move after move, besides the match, their personal communication was extended and included diverse subjects which ended up in an academic debate about human behavior and beyond life experiences.
