Sammy Shu resides in Denver, Colorado with her family. In 1992 she finished her first children’s book and quickly discovered a love for the genre. Her favorite children's stories are the serendipity series. Fairies, dragons, mermaids, centaurs and creatures yet to be discovered are but a few of the fabulous topics of her wonderful books.

Sammy is a member of CIPA and is the President of AFFECT (Authors Function For Enhancing Children’s Tomorrow) she and her family donate their time to bringing smiles to the faces of children in need.

Sammy has written nine children’s books, a gothic fairy tale, two mystery novels, and a comic book in three perspectives. She has several other projects are in the works. her book "There's a Season For All" Is available in Borders, Tatered Cover,Barnes and Noble and online.
