Background Information

I write because I love the free expression it encourages, the impetus for honesty of emotion, and real life. Fiction, journals, creative nonfiction all allow for the exploration of the human condition – the ups, the downs, the midlines – each piece finding an audience in the honesty of life and its emotions. As a reader, I love becoming intertwined with the characters and evolving with them as the story progresses.

My goal as an author is to create an undeniable camaraderie between reader and character with characters that challenge…and characters that inspire.

I’ve traveled extensively, been blessed with amazing and inspiring friends. I have, and continue to experience joy, loss, tragedy, fear, elation, and simple every day stress. Through writing, I desire to wrap my arms of the pieces of my past, the dynamics of the present, and my dreams for the future, bringing it all together in creating unique characters and inspiring tales.
