Joseph McGee - Horror/Suspense Author

Background Information

Joseph McGee was born on July 7, 1985 in Worcester, Massachusetts where he was raised and currently resides and attended Worcester North
High School. After leaving High School, he decided the best thing to do
was to write - and as most people would agree - it panned out for him.

The Massachusetts’ writer began writing seriously in August of 2002 with the short story Pictures that was just around 16,000 words, at which he
wrote an additional 10,000 words to it to make it a novella-length that made its way onto a limited edition CD-Rom and is currently undergoing
a scriptwriting process. Thus far, Joe has written more than three dozen short stories and has finished his first novel, In the Wake of the Night that was released October 2006.

Joseph McGee has over thirty novels at work and shall proceed to set them out as they become finished projects. He is also a proud member of
the Horror Writers Association: New England.

Forthcoming works include: A Killer Collection, a limited edition novella to be released around Summer 2007, Horrortown, an anthology containing
short stories previously published and some pulled from the desk drawer; a release date has not been determined yet, but is expected out by 2010, following the hopeful releases of Snow Hill and The Fallen.

The novel, The Fallen is looking at a 2008/2009 release. This controversial novel will capture the minds and imaginations and fears for all who read it. A lot of hard work and research has been put into this work. In a little while, excerpts from the novel will be placed under the BIBLIOGRAPHY SECTION of his web site. “It's like X-Files and The Da Vinci Code meets Buffy,
the Vampire Slayer,” he says. “It's a tough novel to do; to predict the end of the world type of situation without following anything you've seen on TV or read in a book. To me, this is very unique and very uncommon from anything I've ever read or seen or heard of with any type of Plot.”
