Richard jepperson holds a BS and MBA in Management Science but his fascination with the history of the Sioux was inspired by his association with tribal members while consulting on technical developments and teaching at Standing Rock reservation at Fort Yates, North Dakota.

In July 1999 I published the first book of the Crazy Horse Chronicles trilogy, The War of The Mormon Cow. It's the dramatic tale of Black Robe Woman and Crazy Horse, in their youth. We've just released the second book, Black Robe Woman, Lakota Warrior. It's the coming of age story of our two hero's. Curly becomes Crazy Horse and Little Mouse becomes Black Robe Woman. He earned his name through glory in battle. She took her name as a symbol of the treachery of those close to her; her mother, Walking Woman; her uncle, Red Cloud; and her life long friend, Lone Bear.
