Feeling is what influences me. Feeling the dawn, the soft pastel glow rising to embers wakening the sky, then the day. Feeling those around me, their love, their sadness, the wonder of life. Writing and photography are my passions, not the way I earn my keep, yet.
My business and craft is carpentry, both remodeling and woodworking. I harvest the wood I use from my own land, sustainably, mill it on my sawmill, dry it for a year, and use it in my woodworking shop to produce all sorts of custom creations.
I'm about love, caring. A touch of it involves my hands. In work they caress wood as if it were words, shape structures as if poetry, create shelter as an art of love. In life my hands touch people subtly and intimately. Massage, soothe, reassure, excite, make love. I write what I feel. I write that others may feel. Often II fuse my writing with photography so that feelings may doubly be communicated.
