Ashlyn Chase describes herself as an Almond Joy bar. Nutty, flaky, but basically sweet, wanting only to bring enjoyment to readers.

Background
Information
Originally a major in fine art, Ashlyn Chase continued her education to become an RN with a degree in behavioral sciences. She worked as a phsychiatric nurse for many years. Her writing career stemmed from her need to keep her creative side alive.
Taking a screenwriting course at the University of Massachusetts, she learned to use plotting, pivotal turning points, complex characters, and happy, but not sappy endings to weave highly original stories. She is known for her quirky plot twists, sense of humor and fascination with paranormal phenomenon, all of which show up in her contemporary tales.
Ashlyn now writes full time and loves using her creativity to the fullest.

Additional Information
Most writers, whether they’re aware of it or not, have a ‘theme,’ some sort of thread that runs through all of their books, uniting the whole mishmash into an identifiable signature. Ashlyn’s identified theme involves characters who reinvent themselves. It’s no wonder since she has reinvented herself numerous times. Finally content with her life, she lives in beautiful New Hampshire with her true-life hero husband and a spoiled brat cat.
