Besides other things, I travel and have written many travel pieces. I have written on Sri Aurobindo and the Mother- their lives and teaching and philosophy, their yoga system.

I was awarded Certificate of Competence as a published writer by the Writers Bureau, Manchester, UK and adjudged as the Best Poet for the year 2003 by the Poets International, Bangalore. Besides I am a member of World Poets Society. American Biographical Society has kept my name in their Research Board who offered him the American Order of Merit. He has received Editor’s Choice Published Poet award by the International Library of Poetry, USA and Excellence in World Poetry Award, 2009 by the International Poets Academy. His poems are sometimes displayed at the top or among the first few in some websites, like www.asianamericanpoetry.com , www.poetsindia.com and others.

Pondicherry Environment by me has been published. I have two books of poems recently published: The Paper Boat and In Celebration of Nature-priced Rs.50 and RS 40 or $3 each
