Background Information

I began my full-time writing career in January, 2006. Since then, my work has appeared in Chief of Police, Police Times, Beyond the Badge, Police Fleet Manager, and The UP Mag. I am a contributing writer for Michigan Snowmobiler Magazine and write a monthly column on police communications, as well as, police family life for Officer.com. Building on my B.S. in Justice Studies and Social Inquiry/English Literature from Arizona State University in 2005, I am currently pursuing my M.A. in Criminology from Indiana State University.

Additional Information

I am currently collaborating with Staci Martin, a freelance photographer, on "Little White Crosses: Voices from the American Road." This photo essay highlights roadside memorials and the lives that ended there.
