A native of Tampa, FL Ricc graduated from C. Leon King High School and matriculated at Morehouse College, Atlanta, Georgia, majoring in business.
Previously, he hosted a late night infotainment talk show, UpFRONT with Ricc Rollins on WTVT~FOX13 where he was privileged to interview such celebrities as: Rosie O'Donnell, Tavis Smiley, Anthony (Tony) Robbins, Jair Lynch, Regina Belle, Yolanda King, Little Richard, Grover Washington, Jr., Tommy Davidson, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Jerry Springer, Terry McMillan, Angela Bassett and Patti LaBelle.
Prior to his tenure at FOX13, Ricc was the host of his own self-titled, award-winning talk show, The Ric Rollins Show, which he hosted for five years. Ricc has also appeared on nationally syndicated talk shows, Geraldo, Donahue and The Jane Whitney Show discussing issues of male sexual abuse and survivorship.
He has also worked as a columnist/metro correspondent with The Tampa Tribune and Urban Business Magazine.
At present, he is the CEO and President of The Ishai (pronounced EE-shy) Creative Group, Inc., a multifaceted public relations and project development company founded by he and partner, Lorenzo C. Robertson. Rollins and Robertson are also the founders of Ishai Books, a small press devoted to bringing the voice of talented authors who are often overlooked by large publishing companies. Ishai Books was founded in 1998 and to date have eleven titles to their credit bearing the logo that has come to mean "a good read" to readers.
Ricc is the author of two of Ishai's seven best sellers, Like Breathing and Breathe Again. He has just completed his third novel, Bated Breath, the third installment in the "breathing" chronicles due out sometime in 2002. Ricc is also and accomplished photographer and has had some of his work featured in magazines & on magazine and book covers.
He has just released his first calendar, Shades of Man:Sensuale 2006 (available at www.shadesofman.com).
Ricc resides in Tampa, FL where he also serves as pastor and founder of Breath of Life Fellowship Church, an all-affirming, non-denominational ministry dedicated to relevant ministry to ALL of God's children with an emphasis on empowering His people to know Him in the most intimate and personal ways possible.
