Born in New York Keith G. Laufenberg moved around the world every few years, as his father was in the navy and worked for the government his entire adult life. The author got in a lot of fights and trouble early in life, maybe partly due to always being a new kid in town, and became a juvenile delinquent, but at age 17 he joined the Marine Corps where he took up boxing and, after being discharged made a meager living as a professional boxer, for ten years. He began writing at age 21 and has had dozens of poems and short stories published over the past 30 years. Two of his novels have been published, Semper-Fi-Do-Or-Die, about his experiences in the Marine Corps and Miami Rock, a story based on the author's life and work in Ft. Lauderdale, where he lived through the 1980's and worked primarily as a carpenter and a real estate salesman. Besides having been a boxer, carpenter and real estate salesman, Keith G. Laufenberg has been a bartender, a comedian, a car salesman, a cab driver, a lifeguard, a loan originator, a paralegal and a Human Being. He uses all of these experiences in his writing but most of all he claims to rely on the Human Being, while searching for the spirit of truth in everything he writes.
