Born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1961, Lloyd Graham is now a biomedical research scientist based in Sydney, Australia.
His poems have appeared in The Poet’s Cut, KotaPress Journal, The Verse Marauder, Australian Life Scientist, The Harrow: Original Works of Fantasy and Horror, and Stylus Poetry Journal, and been published on websites of LabLit.com and The Society for Literature, Science, and the Arts (Johns Hopkins University Press). In 2007, Lloyd won the poetry prize in the two creative writing competitions held by Australia's national science organisation, and six of his poems are printed in the resulting anthologies. His work has also been featured with commentary in the art/religion blog Marginalia - Notes from the Edges of Life.
He has also had articles published in Modern Believing, Australian Aboriginal Studies, Mythos Journal, Mary Jones’ Celtic Encyclopedia, AusAnthrop, Fickle Muses, Lamhfada: an Online Magazine of Myth and Story, and was awarded two WordCount:Great Prose Exposed features by the deviantART website.
Some of Lloyd’s digital art is featured on the Mythical Ireland website. He is proud to have two oil paintings in the permanent collection of the Museum of Bad Art (MoBA) near Boston, MA, one of which is reproduced in the book Museum of Bad Art: Masterworks (2008).
