I love the art of poetry because of what it does for my passion for life and my appreciation of the beauty of language. What makes poetry so special as art is it can touch our most innate and deepest feelings hidden deep within ourselves. It can be so rhythmic, melodic, and magical in how it connects with our psyche's connection to our souls and our true well-beings. The symbolism, riddles, thought provoking metaphors, mysterious hidden meanings, and musical incantations within the art of poetry are possibly the greatest form of self-expression - finding answers directly to questions; without the excess verbiage of novels.

I will be travelling to Manilla and Samar, Philippines from October, 2007 through February, 2008 to research and write my first novel - "THE UTOPIA SYNDROME"; as well as a comic book called the "JOURNEYS OF ABDIZ DIZBA". I am currently writing my second book of poetry called "OVER THE RAINBOW".
