This proverbial wandering Jew settled himself in Israel and has a wonderful and interesting life. Plans to continue plodding along. (The painting is not of me but is a dramatically beautiful icon)

Background Information

The old writers had the biggest influence on me and made we want to tell stories too, writers like Charles Dickens, E. Phillips Oppenheim, Howard Spring, Pearl Buck, James Hilton, H.H Munroe (Saki), Charles Nordoff & James Norman Hall, W. Somerset Maugham, Herman Wouk, James Michener, A.J. Cronin, Jane Austin, The Bronte Sisters and that crowd. They could really tell stories. Took 2 classes in Creative Writing, one in London, England and one here in Tel Aviv. I have sold several stories and articles to magazines and anthologies in several countries - India, New Zealand, U.K., Canada and the USA. I was educated by Roman Catholic Jesuit priests and I was captivated by the character of Jesus. My school teacher encouraged me to write because he liked my work. I was determined to write a book about the Jew who became the God of the Christians but not until I moved to Israel was I able to understand him fully. I completed the book in about 3 years and for the next decades, honed it and perfected it with the help of my local Writer's Group. It has had wonderful reviews from readers, agents and publishers and came first in the historical category at UKAuthors but, because of its subject matter, it is hard to find a publisher or an agent to take it on. The two agents I did have were very enthusiastic but were unable to place it. It is now available at a special discount price until the end of October 2011 at

Birth Place
