With great love, animals and children have always been a part of my life. I raised dogs and cats all my life and worked with children and adults with disabilities. Pet therapy was a natural step. I used pet therapy long before it was officially recognised.

Finally, I decided to create the type of literature children can relate too. Children love fantasy and animals what a great combination. My book(s) encourage understanding of different cultures and appreciation and respect for the planet we live on.

Children, as well as adults, learn best when they don't realise they are learning.

The motto of Captain Bootsie Bear and His Fearless Crew is:

Through my book(s) and children's educational website(which is not the ususal educational website), I strive to light the fires of their imagination and ecourage them to learn more.

I like to think that I have thought in terms of 100 years. Guess I'll find out in a 100 years!
