A reffugee from themestream.com and then writtenbyme.com, I hope to spend many happy years here. I guess my biggest influences are what I read. I love to read novels (fantasy, scifi, historical, Victorian, realistic, etc); it is a rare day that i am not reading at least one novel. My favorite authors are Charles Dickens and Charlotte Bronte. I also love to read the Bible. I read poetry as well, especially enjoying the greats of the past: Donne, Herbert, Shakespeare, Pope, Eliot, Byron, Dickenson. My all-time favorites are Donne and Herbert. Also, the music i listen to influences my writing. Atrists such as Jars of Clay, Third Day, Deleriou5?, The News Boys, DC Talk, Big Tent Revival, Rebecca St. James, Jackie Velasquez, Colin Raye, Faith Hill, and Bon Jovi. (Yeah, i know i'm weird.) Even now in my 3rd year of my English degree I know I'm no expert on writing, but I know what I like.
