I have written two historical adventure novels, Sarawak and Mujahidin, published a number of poems and technical manuals and have authored a weekly newspaper column.  In addition to my interest in writing, I am an avid outdoorsman and participate at every opportunity in fishing, camping, hiking, skiing (both downhill and cross country) and golf.  In addition to reading, writing and oudoor activities, I enjoy cooking, playing bridge, gardening and hosting dinner parties. My educational background includes degrees in Education and Clinical Psychology.  Having spurned traditional career paths, I have had "mini-careers" as an educator, counselor, athletic director, coach, restauranteur, recruiter, consultant and realtor.  I currently reside in Battlement Mesa, Colorado, a small mountain community situated along the Colorado River between Glenwood Springs and Grand Junction.
