The name "Shawn Haigins" is a pseudonym. In fact, it is an anagram of the author's real name "Ashwin Sanghi". A businessman by profession, Shawn writes extensively on history, religion, and politics in his spare time. "The Rozabal Line" is Shawn's first book of fiction.

Background Information

Religion & history have always fascinated Shawn, and writing "The Rozabal Line" gave him a chance to take his favorite subjects and to use them to the fullest. "I sincerely hope that readers of historical or religious fiction, or even those interested in comparative religion will find this book interesting" says the author. Shawn is currently working on a second novel, as yet untitled. Besides this, he is also writing a non-fiction book on the history of religions. Shawn holds a master's degree from Yale and lives in India with his wife and son.
