As a retired school teacher, I realized the value of being organized. So I started my own Professional Organizing business, Hands On Organizers. Some of my clients wanted to get organized but didn't want someone invading their space. I wrote this book to help them get started, without a stranger going through all their things. I wanted it to be easy to read and have a sense of humor. I used lots of illustrations to create that feel. I patterned the book after a children's book called, If You Give A Mouse A Cookie, which tells, step by step, what happens if you give a mouse a cookie. In my book, if you start right where you are, then you will need to do the next step, and so on. I have had lots of positive feedback and, as far as I have seen, there is nothing like it on the market. It's whimsical yet fact filled. It's a quick read while giving the reader lots to do or think about while starting the organizing process.

I've just held my first book signing which was a success. The local paper reviewed my book for the signing and I received a very positive review. I am in the process of booking more signings and public speaking events.
