"Take two parts of Beelzebub, two of Israfel, one of Monte Cristo, one of Cyrano, mix violently...",
Alfred Bester

"You're odd, very odd. And you work at it."
Charlie Delgado

The dreams

Background Information

Born in New England, raised in the midwest...fell under the spells of Lovecraft, Chandler, Bester, HS Thompson, Ellison, Zelazny, in that order, early in life. Tried to write like each in turn and still can't resist wearing those influences on my sleeve, for amusement's sake if nothing else...worked as a cabdriver for many years, relocated to the desert southwest, where I pursued my muse in the light of the dawn over the mountains.

Moved once again to uber-green upstate NY...where the spirits of the Algonquin are preserved in so many place names that sound like alternate Cthuvians (cf. Canandaigua!)

Birth Place
Caribou, ME
Accomplishments

I'm still alive.

That must count for something.

My stories and articles have appeared in an assortment of places, under a myriad of names, in a variety of genres, and I own up to the good ones. Haven't won any significant awards for them recently, but I've been paid for some of them.

Additional Information

Currently I am working on a few novels, and threaten to write more short stories as well.
Interested readers may also want to check out the work of my friends: Charlie Delgado (especially if you like edible poetry), SilverCelticMoon (for magick and romance), and RM Roland (for those things that he does so well). One who should need no introduction is the inestimable Willam F. DeVault, but here he is anyway, and last, but definitely not least, is my fellow Mythos fancier Nubianne Black.

Planet Moderan
Where the bulk of my work is archived, presented idiosyncratically. Plenty of homemade art (Like the banners here), found objects, links, music, and other gewgaws...anything I find interesting or fun.
Highly recommended. Always undergoing renovations.

AcidPlanet Moderan

This is where my music is archived, under a variety of sobriquets. The tunes range from folkish to metallic with a generous dollop of electronic experimentalism. They're largely composed of loops both found and self-generated. Site allows for streaming through media player (no need for any downloads).

Christmas When Music Almost Killed the World by Aberjhani

Christmas When Music Almost Killed the World is a novel in which nothing is quite what it seems and everything is loaded with shadowy dreams of the past and nightmares set to soul-..
