As a retiree I found time to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. My love of all things in nature made me aware of what a magnificent art gallery we can avail ourselves of at any moment. Beauty and mystery abound in nature. My inspirational moment, when I first felt the desire to share my emotions poetically, came at the Norflok, VA Botanical Gardens. The love of my life, my wife Ursula and the special aura of that spring day in the rose garden moved me to poetry. To share my emotions and perspectives with others in the hope of creating a special moment for the reader, my objective.
