I am a 68-year-old Southerner, now living in Louisiana, who is a retired scientist with a passion for writing poetry. I write poems and 'storoems', which are hybrid story-poems. I also have published three works of prose, with my newest action-adventure / historical fiction / love story novel entitled "Aldric and Anneliese" published by 4RV Publishing in February of 2011.        

- I have served as a moderator at several Internet poetry forums.
- My poetry has appeared in several ezines and three books (collections of my poems).
- I recently became editor-in-chief for 4RV Publishing LLC.
-One of my storoems won Second Place (with prize of $1,000) in the 2008 Tom Howard Poetry Contest. A free-verse poem of mine won High Distinction (with prize of $200) in the same contest, making me the only poet to win two cash prizes in the 2008 contest.

My fourth poetry book, entitled "Poetry Books Don't Sell!" containing a collection of my storoems and poems, is available at Amazon.com and other booksellers, as is my latest novel "Aldric & Anneliese".
