Kathryn A. Graham needs adventure like most of us need to breathe. At a tiny 5’1” tall, she is a military veteran and holds current aviation licenses as a pilot, an aircraft mechanic, and a ground instructor. Highly experienced in successful undercover investigations, she operated for several years as owner and manager of her own private investigations firm in South Texas and has made a number of fugitive arrests. During this period, she also held certification by the Texas Department of Public Safety as a concealed handgun instructor and taught classes on the legal and ethical uses of force under Texas Law. In addition, she is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and a CompTia A+ certified computer hardware technician.
Kathryn has been writing for many years. She has completed three spec screenplays, numerous science fiction and adventure short stories, and her first novel to see print, Flight From Eden, was self published through The Writers Collective. In addition, she has written considerable political commentary for The San Antonio Lightning, The Sierra Times, The Libertarian Enterprise, and numerous other online and printed publications.
She won third place in the L. Ron Hubbard Writer’s of the Future Contest for her short story, Awakening, several years ago, and received honorable mentions in the Writers Digest Contest for one article and one short story out of a field of more than 19,000 entries.
When asked some years ago by a curious reporter what sort of thing she enjoyed writing, her answer was crisp and to the point.
“English!”
Her answer hasn’t changed.
These days, Kathryn concentrates on her screenwriting under the careful management of two pushy and extremely opinionated cats.
