Life goes on . . . When someone we love dies, life goes on – we do not know how, but it does. When we experience failure the sun just keeps coming up and the world continues to turn on its axis. Life does not stop, even if we do.
As this thing called life moves forward, we awaken, our hearts awaken, and what a wonderful awakening it is because with this awakening comes change that is necessary to make us better, more productive; and moves us into a higher place. It is through this awakening that life itself is given to our lives.
Many people have played a part in making this book a reality. Throughout the writing of this book I have shared exerts with family and friends. Some of them have come back to tell me they have seen the need for their hearts to awaken to their spouses, children, and friends. Their relationships are getting better – not because of anyone else changing, but as a result of the changes that have occurred in their own lives. The awakening in them has awakened the love, acceptance, and forgiveness they needed for others. This is why the book was written. I truly appreciate the friends that have shared with me how their hearts were asleep.
I appreciate my family who has supported me throughout the writing of this book and for Dan, my husband, who has worked with me to bring about the fruition of Awakening The Sleeping Heart.
I am especially grateful for Shirley and Jeff who planted the seed in my heart and mind for this book.
And most of all, I am thankful to God, Who has given me the desire, drive, and ability to write.
My heart’s desire is to, if nothing else, assist those who read these words to recognize that they possibly need to have the awakening heart experience in some area or areas of their lives so they can have life – life more abundantly each and every day.
