Oh bliss in joyous life, in a benevolent universe where all energy is conscious, where pain only serves to make space for more fun!

Background Information

I love the music in flowing lines and sparkling words, in trilling rhymes and trippling rhythms, I love the multifarious languages that each sing with its own charms and sounds and rules, I love to play with these tools and create melodies and harmonies that convey my passions, joys, fun, dreams, pain, sorrow, excitement, elation, shock, disappointments, fears, discoveries, plans, theories, criticisms - in short, everything that passes through my head and my heart  - to whoever wants to participate by reading and evaluating.

I studied languages - English, French, German while Afrikaans is my mother tongue. I majored in philosopy and suffered through the bone-dry formulations of the long-winded German philosophers, the depressing plays of the French existentialists and the self-important brilliance of Afrikaans afficionado's of philosophy. I found rational positivism unbearable and ran away.

Today my creed is to enlarge the imagination, play with fantasy, retrieve dreams, create visions, and I fell in love with quantum physics and astrogenetics - and Terry Pratchett, of course . I study the Internet for magic, from David Blaine to Wyan Dyer, and read with joy that Robert Monroe teaches we can have out-of-body travel in life. I believe in all esoteric phenomena and can only lament the fact that my brain has been Beeblebroxed so that I can't experience the supernatural and telepathy I read about - but that won't stop me from finding delight in it all!

I also write about my daily life and events that befall me, always surprised by the funny ways of the world, feeling daily more like a crocodile - a primitive reptile looking for more knowledge and insight, and thankful to a handful of very kind souls who help the crocodile to dream about being a princess, albeit a reptilian one hiding scales beneath a burka....

Birth Place
Johannesburg,  South Africa

A translator and interpretor by prefession and the proud attendee of the relevant courses - albeit half electrocuted by all these boring lectures and mad pragmatism.

Additional Information

My poetry is to be found on Poem.Hunter under the name of Margaret Alice, there is an e-book with 500 poems and then another 600 new poems - if you survive the onslaught, you are made from very stern stuff.
