David Chapman expertise is in the areas of environmental sustainability, environmental engineering and environmental science. His main interests are in the areas of sustainable development, sustainable environmental technologies as well as environmental education. He has studied at Hampton University, Hampton, Virginia, The University of West Indies, Mona, Jamaica and Royal Holloway University of London, London, Uk. His major literary work is the production of a series of environmental children's books, entitled "Daddy and I Explore...!" that aims to promote environmental appreciation, encourage early literacy and support the need for healthy family interaction amongst young people. He has also written as a contributor in other titles and for various news media articles. Since early childhood, David has shown a keen interest in the natural world often exploring the untended woodlands around his homes or wherever he found himself in Bermuda. His love for nature developed into his main focus in respect to his studies and career direction. It is this love for nature and it’s pristineness that guided him into a deeper understanding of how human life is intimately connected with the natural ebb and flow of the earth. This was catalyzed by a combination of deeper life challenges during the final year of his environmental studies that lead him to consider the deeper meanings of life and what role holistic development should play in a balanced life. It was in this challenging period in which he delved deeper into an understanding of healing and wholeness from a natural perspective combining both research and practical application.
