My first book, The Chronicles of Terrin was without a name for 11 years of my life. I used this story in my earliest years to escape reality and my problems. I would use the characters to personify my troubles and feelings, and use other characters to combat them to represent me overcoming these troubles.
This story was first written like a comic strip, but once I grew tired of drawing so many pictures of characters doing different and complicated things that I could not draw at the time, I changed these pictures into words, describing what was happening.
Eventually, I made backstories for every character I made, and then started to build a story off of it. I changed this story four times before I was finally satisfied with it, and I named it, The Chronicles of Terrin.
I have recently published the entire story on Lulu, a self-publishing website.
